GÖRG advises Ufenau on investment in viataurus Group

GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB advised Ufenau Fonds VII, a fund company of Ufenau Capital Partners, on the acquisition of viataurus Group, headquartered in Reinbek, Schleswig-Holstein (Germany). viataurus is a leading full-service provider of security technology solutions for non-residential buildings.

With the help of Ufenau's investment, the objective of viataurus Group is to expand its leading position in its current markets through both organic growth and selective acquisitions. Furthermore, viataurus will continue to invest in the expansion of its service offering and employee recruiting.

viataurus, with its companies Deltron Elektronic GmbH, ESB Solutions GmbH, Heikotec GmbH and mesafox Handelskontor GmbH, has been active in the building security technology market for over 30 years and has established itself as an industry leader in Northern Germany. With a team of over 110 highly qualified employees the Group offers the compelete range of building security technology, including mobile and stationary fire alarm systems, intruder and voice alarm systems, access control solutions as well as video surveillance. Most of viataurus' commercial clients are municipalities, hospitals, universities, construction companies, real estate developers, retail stores, financial institutions and industrial companies.

A cross-office GÖRG team led by partners Dr. Tobias Fenck and Dr. John-Patrick Bischoff provided legal and tax advice to Ufenau on the investment. The Swiss investor group regularly relies on the expertise of the Frankfurt based PE lawyer Tobias Fenck and his team for transactions in the German market
